There is a particular quiet in the natural world - a rhythm in shadows, a pulse in leaf and stone, a colour that changes subtly with the shifting light. This is where my practice begins: in the slow gathering of form, texture, colour, and shape, and in the wonder of their intricate relationships. Whether through the delicate lines of a fine drawing, the sweep of abstract fields of colour, or the tactile presence of sculptural object, I seek to make visible the unseen poetry in our everyday environment.

My work moves comfortably between observation and abstraction, blending the precise and the intuitive. Some pieces are held in the close attention of detailed drawing, others in the bold openness of painted colour fields or three‑dimensional form. Across these mediums, there is always a quiet striving toward elegance - an aesthetic that feels simple, yet profound. I am inspired by the worlds of art and design, interiors and fashion, and how these visual conversations touch and colour the way we see and live.

I live and work on the lands of the Menang Noongar people in Kinjarling/Albany, Western Australia. Here, in my studio nestled close to coast and bush, I make, observe, and return again to seeing. I welcome studio visits by appointment, because sharing the space where the work lives often brings new reflection and insight.

Alongside my studio practice, I draw on my background as an educator - holding both a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion and Textiles and a Graduate Diploma in Education in Visual Arts Education - to stay connected with the next generation of makers. I work part‑time guiding young artists at Parklands Primary School, where curiosity and courage are daily practice.

Art for me is both rooted and restless - grounded in the world as it is, and forever reaching for what it might become. In that space between seeing and becoming, I find a sense of wonder that keeps me returning to the studio. I invite you to explore my work, whether through prints, original pieces, or by connecting with the stories each piece holds.
